The Art of the Perfect Pour Over

Pour over coffee is one of the purest ways to brew. With just hot water, fresh grounds, and a little patience, you can coax out the delicate flavors of a single-origin bean.

What You’ll Need

  • A gooseneck kettle with temperature control
  • Freshly roasted beans (ours are roasted within the last two weeks!)
  • A burr grinder
  • A pour over dripper and paper filter

Step-by-Step

  1. Grind: Use a medium-fine grind, about the texture of sea salt.
  2. Rinse the filter: This removes paper taste and preheats your dripper.
  3. Bloom: Add 2x the coffee weight in water, wait 30 seconds.
  4. Pour: Slowly pour in spirals, keeping the water level steady.
  5. Enjoy: Total brew time should be around 3 minutes.
